I started in 1983 as a small overgrown hobby/business and have been growing, changing and morphing to keep up with trends and customer’s needs ever since. Our aim is still to employ and empower rural women and create distinctive yarns for the local and international market.

We cannot compete with machines and big business, so we add value through the use of colour and texture. We use environmentally friendly dying methods. We build a story around our yarns and upcycle all the ends of colour runs, creating more jobs and reducing our wastage and footprint on the environment to almost nothing.

Success is seeing smiley faces at work, employees succeeding in their personal lives and achieving goals through growth in their confidence. Colour and texture are good for the soul but a person happy at work is the highest reward.
