2026 Beanie Drive for Siyakhula & Bongolethu Schools
ABOUT THIS INITIATIVE
Cape Town Yarn Festival is calling for beanie donations in support of the Siyakhula and Bongolethu Schools. Beanies may be knitted or crocheted in any colour/s. There will be a drop-off point at CTYF2026. Let’s stand together to support these schools!

Donate your beanie(s) and stand a chance to win a CTYF2026 goodie bag! Competition Terms & Conditions apply.
How to enter:
- Attach (pin or securely fasten) your name and contact details to each beanie donated.
- Each beanie counts as one entry into the lucky draw.
- Beanies sent via courier will also be included, provided contact details are attached.
Lucky Draw Date: 3 May 2026
For your convenience, you can download and print entry slips below: fill in your details and securely attach one to each beanie. The form includes courier and PUDO address.
If you don’t have access to a printer, you may simply write your name, contact number and email address on a piece of paper and attach it securely to each beanie.

Lucky Draw Competition Terms & Conditions
- The competition is organised by the Cape Town Yarn Festival 2026.
- Entry is open to all individuals who donate beanies as part of the official beanie drive.
- Each beanie with valid contact details qualifies as one entry.
- Winner will be selected at random on the stated draw dates.
- Winner will be contacted using the details provided.
- If the winner cannot be reached within a reasonable time, an alternate winner may be selected.
- Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
- By entering, participants agree that their name may be announced by the organisers.
